Responsibility

  • placing all received emailed orders with our approved suppliers for designated delivery dates
  • sage knowledge and materials is a benefit but not essential
  • checking with approved suppliers for material availability as required
  • buyer required for purchasing duties at our office in Waltham Abbey assisting our commercial team, arranging the day to day purchasing of materials and plant across various building sites in London
  • provide cost advice to estimators after negotiating rates / prices for products
  • managing material schedules for sites against budgets and managing rebate deals

Requirements

  • confident communicator with numerical skills
  • good time keeper with organisational skills
  • ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and suppliers
  • thorough attention to detail, being able to adapt if under pressure
