architectural technician
Working hours
- full-time | Part-time | Temporary
Responsibility
- we are looking for a junior or partially experienced architectural technician to assist us with our current & upcoming workload
- ideally the candidate will have an understanding of the industry, construction methods with the aspect of design and technical abilities
- they will have appropriate training within the construction industry and need to be self-motived and driven
- we are a young and small practice in Plymouth Science Park, it is a quiet and relaxed office atmosphere
- driving is required and the office does have on-site parking, cooking facilities, a bistro and recreational space
- they will be working in CAD/REVIT to draw existing and proposed floor plans and elevations, to give clients options ideas, designs and layouts
- we do like to get involved of all sectors of work ; residential, commercial, retail, restaurants etc. Although we predominately work with residential work i.e.. kitchen extensions/loft conversions/house internal re-modelling
- the drawings will be used for initial design layouts, which can then be used for planning and/or building regulation drawings. The candidate will assist with undertaking measured house surveys, which will then develop into a drawing package
