Responsibility
- butterfield Morgan Ltd Chartered Accountants are a local, Swansea-based accountancy practice currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team
- accurately maintain financial transactions for multiple clients and ensure data integrity
- create customer invoices and manage receipts
- provide support for the payroll department
- conduct regular bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- support our team of accountants with providing accurate financial information for our clients
- with over 60 years’ experience in the industry, we pride ourselves on our commitment to delivering exceptional client service and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism
- assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
Requirements
- previous bookkeeping experience, preferably in an accountancy firm
- strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- recent experience in processing payroll on behalf of clients
- proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero, Sage and QuickBooks
- excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry
- ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- effective communication and customer service skills
