- to be committed, hard working and reliable and work well as a part of a busy nursery team
- A successful candidate will need to have experience cooking for large numbers and hold a valid food hygiene certificate
- to cater for all allergies and dietary requirements
- buttercups has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a nursery cook. You will be catering for a maximum of 80 Children per day
- to prepare and cook on a daily basis a variety of healthy nutritious meals for the number of children in attendance at the nursery
- ensure that food hygiene rules and health and safety standards are of a high standard within the kitchen and other food preparation areas
- the individual will need to be able to produce a healthy, well balanced, nutritious, menu for children aged 6 weeks - 8 years. There will need to be a winter and summer menu
