BUILDERS EQUIPMENT is looking for employees for positions:

plant fitter

  • plant fitter
  • technician

Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • assessing power tools and small plant equipment to identify reasons for breakdown or repair
  • repair and servicing of power tools and small plant equipment
  • PAT testing
  • maintaining workshop stock and testing equipment
  • ensuring servicing schedules are up to date
  • carry out routine safety checks and inspections
  • ensure efficient customer service is provided
  • adhere to all safe working practices

Requirements

  • A good working knowledge of diesel, petrol and 2 stroke engines would be an advantage
  • an understanding of hydraulic tools would be an advantage
  • basic IT skills
  • driving licence preferred but not essential
  • A background or hands on mechanical/industrial experience within the plant and tool hire industry would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given
