Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- assessing power tools and small plant equipment to identify reasons for breakdown or repair
- repair and servicing of power tools and small plant equipment
- PAT testing
- maintaining workshop stock and testing equipment
- ensuring servicing schedules are up to date
- carry out routine safety checks and inspections
- ensure efficient customer service is provided
- adhere to all safe working practices
Requirements
- A good working knowledge of diesel, petrol and 2 stroke engines would be an advantage
- an understanding of hydraulic tools would be an advantage
- basic IT skills
- driving licence preferred but not essential
- A background or hands on mechanical/industrial experience within the plant and tool hire industry would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given
