Responsibility

  • undertake maintenance, service, and repair activities on motor vehicles of all types
  • work to the highest level within scheduled times to meet manufacturers standards
  • repair, test vehicles and diagnose faults
  • replace components, parts, lubricants, and consumables whilst maintaining records and usage
  • maintain a clean and tidy work area, organized and safe from hazards to 'Health and Safety'
  • advise and report on vehicle faults, servicing requirements including future servicing/repair requirement

Requirements

  • qualified to NVQ Level 3
  • hold a current class 4 MOT license
  • minimum 2 years’ experience working in all makes of vehicles
  • full UK driver’s license
  • working in all makes of vehicles: 2 years
