Working hours
- full-time | Temporary | Permanent
Responsibility
- organising, leading and motivating the catering team
- planning/overseeing staff shifts and rotas
- monitoring spending levels e.g. staff hours
- keeping staff training up to date
- ensuring that café is clean and tidy and run to a high standard
- maintain a very high level of housekeeping and control standards at all times
- ensuring that the kitchen and cafe areas are kept clean and to an excellent standard
- maintain a duty of care to self and others in ensuring health and safety is maintained at all times within the working environment
Requirements
- previous Catering Management experience; managing catering department/staff
- first Aid qualified
- qualifications to NVQ in Food Hygiene Level 2
- ability to work weekends, early and late shifts as rostered to include unsociable hours
- interest in Motorsports
- excellent food presentation, cooking, cleaning down etc skills
- previous experience in the hospitality/leisure industry
- strong communication skills
