- to work alongside the dedicated team giving support in all areas

- to be responsible for the management of the unit, including the deployment and supervision of staff throughout the 24-hour day

- in conjunction with the Care Home Manager to be responsible for the management of the care of the residents, including the deployment and supervision of staff throughout the 24 hour day, the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care
- to set and monitor standards of care within the framework of the home’s philosophies and goals and statement of purpose
