- proven experience as a Baker or within a kitchen prep environment
- the ability to multitask, and manage time effectively
- knowledge of Health and Safety rules in a kitchen
Responsibility
- fulfill all bakery jobs to the specification and standard of the Bross recipes
- weighing and measuring ingredients for the preparation of baked goods
- kneading dough by hand or using industrial dough mixers
- forming bagels to the desired shape
- baking items in the oven
- monitoring oven temperature, humidity and baking times
- ensure all food and other items are stored in accordance with FIFO principles
- comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
