Responsibility
- review the design resources and plan workload and direction for the week
- develop strong relationships with key buyers and internal teams
- driving direction within your department
- design trend led jersey pieces across Daywear and Nightwear
- drive sales in both the Fashion and License departments
- conduct Research and trend analysis to ensure designs are fashion focused and commercial
- inspirational shopping trips to ensure emerging trends are captured
- customer Meetings with Key Retailers
Requirements
- proven experience in a similar role with a focus on Jersey garments
- proven Experience in License design
- A keen eye for detail , a visionary with the ability to identify and interpret trends
- ability to work at speed, displaying strong organizational skills and working to tight deadlines
- strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients
- to support and lead the menswear design department
- confident in holding meetings & giving presentations with customers face to face and via VC
