answer customer questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability. Understand and promote company products and programmes
meet or exceed set sales targets
coordinate sales efforts with set marketing programmes
use Sage 50 to maintain customer records and CRM
generate business from the current customer base to be assigned, source new customers and negotiate all contracts with prospective customers to finalise deals
monitors competition by gathering current market information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques
recommends changes in products, services and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments
Requirements
bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics or a related field
minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B sales
ability to negotiate and close deals successfully
commitment to excellent customer service
excellent written and verbal communication skills
brilliant interpersonal skills and ability to quickly build rapport with customers
strong time management skills
understanding different sales strategies and the ability to use them successfully, understand sales processes and dynamics
