Requirements

minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a science area, ideally food regulations and/or nutrition
A science-based degree
an understanding of the FSG regulation and horizontal food legislation
proven project management
this position would suit someone with a science/nutrition background
excellent written and verbal communication
demonstrable stakeholder management
knowledge of FSG regulation and horizontal food legislation

Responsibility

to support the work of the Parenteral Nutrition Group in collaboration with the Medical Nutrition Manager and Director General
interpret reports and provide regulatory expertise and advice to members accordingly
to lead on all relevant food safety activity relating to the sectors
to lead on all sustainability and environmental work relating to the sectors
to support the Director General in the running of the Infant Nutrition Executive – in collaboration with the Public Affairs Manager – including drafting agendas and minutes, attending meetings, presenting items and undertaking agreed actions
to initiate and manage the work of the Infant Nutrition Working Group - including drafting agendas and minutes, attending meetings, presenting items, and undertaking agreed actions
to participate in relevant Specialised Nutrition Europe Groups & inform members accordingly
to stay informed & horizon scan the regulatory, scientific, and legislative developments, in conjunction with the Public Affairs Manager and communicate all relevant information to member companies and external organisations
