  • working with the COO to coordinate the preparation of budget and financial forecasting and reporting any variances

  • preparing all returns required by our external funders Sport England and UK Sport
  • preparing monthly budget reports and acting as a business partner to other Directorates
  • managing all day to day accounting operations - this includes Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Revenue Recognition and maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
  • creating reports which identify results, trends and forecasts

  • the skill, ability and experience to continually develop members of the senior management team in a high performing organisation
  • A deep understanding of the importance of good governance within an organisation and the experience of having managed its delivery
  • excellent financial awareness, with a proven ability to control budgets and forecasts
  • A collaborative and empowering leadership style
  • has experience of effective risk management across physical and financial risks as well as effective safeguarding
  • ability to promote, embed and advance equality, diversity and inclusion throughout the organisation
