Responsibility
- start-up, execute, cleaning and completion clinical trial packaging operations in accordance with appropriate Standard Operating Procedures
- input into machine, logic operating parameters for each control. Start, stop, and tend machines during all phases of the production run
- supply components to equipment as required for continuous machine operation. Break down, clean, and sanitize equipment
- construct clinical trial kits in accordance with strict protocols to maintain blinding integrity
- alerts supervision of any irregularities in procedures or equipment operations. Relocate equipment as required for operations
- complete electronic batch documentation, equipment log books and other documentation relevant to the production process for all stages of production
- control and monitor production process and equipment; resolve problems or correct abnormal conditions, conduct basic trouble-shooting and escalate problems appropriately
- support the performance of preventive maintenance and major overhaul activities as required
Requirements
- educated to A level standard, preferably in subjects relating to sciences or IT
- experience of packaging and labeling environment in a GMP environment, preferably within clinical trials
- problem solving skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues to resolve problems
- the ability to develop and share knowledge
- ability to work accurately to deadlines
- computer literate
- understand and follow GMP requirements to meet the requirements of quality standards relevant to packaging environment
- work safely in packaging environment, understanding personal responsibility for Health, Safety and the Environment and principles of risk management
