Responsibility
assist the Head chef and Sous Chef with the Afternoon Tea preparation
prepare a wide variety of goods such as cookies, macaroons, pastries, etc. following traditional and modern recipes
assist the Head chef with preparation of our different menus
monitors kitchen equipment and reports issues to superiors
checks products in Kitchen unit area and restocks items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift
sorting, storing and distributing ingredients
measures, mixes, and prepares meal ingredients if required
work well within the team, communicating effectively with all necessary team members to ensure all preparation, closing down, and other associated tasks are completed effectively and efficiently
Requirements
proven experience as Assistant Pastry Chef minimum 2 years
great attention to detail and creativity
working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations
