hardware engineer
Responsibility
- produce hardware designs
- produce technical information for manufacturing partners and service teams
- chair hardware design meetings and reviews
- maintain an archive of electronic design data
- resolve design related problems with in-house manufacturing departments, sub-contractors and suppliers
- evaluation testing of new designs
- validation testing of new designs
- as and when necessary overseas travel maybe required to resolve technical issues and personal develop training
Requirements
- degree qualified or equivalent in electronic engineering
- hands-on
- minimum 5 years industry related experience as an electronic engineer
- good problem-solving skills and root cause analysis
- understand and manipulate 2D/3D electronic CAD models
- excellent communication skills; written and verbal Commercially aware
- experience of design for manufacturing test
- good attention to detail
