Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- create and develop new Insurance schemes to be signed off by the business and launched to the open market
- make development recommendations to existing schemes with emphasis on increasing current footprint and conversion rates
- own and proactively develop commercially successful and productive relationships with insurers and where appropriate, other intermediaries
- ensure rationale is documented for all existing and new schemes
- effectively communicate with all key internal and external stakeholders on the implementation of new products, schemes & insurers
- build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders to identify gaps in existing product offerings and proactively propose pricing recommendations
- fully utilise market research and analysis to reinforce all recommendations made
- produce and distribute weekly reports relevant to all business activity
Requirements
- previous experience in account development and scheme design/manufacture
- experience of dealing with software houses- including implementing changes to existing schemes and building new schemes from a standing start
- target driven approach
- previous experience working within the Personal Lines Insurance sector, preferably within the specialist vehicle area
- excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into information
- strong communication and relationship building skills
- effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- ability to review management information, summarise and report on findings
