residential support worker
Responsibility
- provide high-quality care and support to children in our newly established residential setting
- create a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive
- assist in the development and implementation of care plans
- support and engage with children in recreational and educational activities
- collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the well-being of each child
Requirements
- proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a residential childcare setting
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent qualification or willing to undertake this qualification
- understanding of the issues affecting children in care
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- passion for personal and professional development, with a desire to progress in your role
- hold a valid driving licence
- children's Home Residential: 1 year
