Responsibility
- we are looking for a dynamic and energetic person to join our small team of staff
- the Deputy Manager's main role is to support the Manager in all aspects of Nursery matters
- they must work as part of the Staff Team and liaise between the Staff and the Manager
- they must have good knowledge of EYFS and must be keen to learn new legislation as required
- they must have a good understanding of children's development, their needs and the provision of positive play
- an ability to provide a high quality integrated early education and childcare service which complies with the Early Years Foundation Stage
- the Deputy Manager will go about their duties with honesty and integrity and ensure the nursery needs are always met. They must be approachable, with good communication skills
- they must be able to supervise staff and be involved in the recruitment, induction, training, counselling and disciplining of staff
