Responsibility
- managing and overseeing the taxation affairs, cash flow, banking and borrowing arrangements and liaising with the external specialist advisors
- brevis are now looking to recruit a hands-on Finance Director to join our growing regulated law firm with plans to expand across multiple legal service offerings
- reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Finance Director will be responsible for accurate reporting of financial results and managing the Firm’s financial affairs
- risk Management to ensure the business has a solid risk framework in place with particular emphasis on Client Money
- advising and implementing best practice methods to increase revenue and reduce costs
- managing and tracking budget and accounting information including billing, collections, and tax information
- as a key part of the management team, the Finance Director will be responsible for the financial management of the organisation including managing a small team. The role will be on a hybrid office basis
- managing the External Auditor relationships and ensuring the organisation is compliant with accounting standards
