Responsibility
- to lead and co-ordinate all aspects of the strategic development and management of the Practice
- to provide leadership, line management and support to the Management Team to ensure the Practice runs smoothly and efficiently
- to work collaboratively with Practice Partners to provide an environment where staff thrive, and patients receive high quality healthcare

- to undertake the overall running of the Practice, including compliance with CQC requirements and overseeing patient services, HR, building, infrastructure and Health & Safety in accordance with current legislation
- to coordinate and support the delivery of high-quality Primary Health Care projects; both within the Practice and within our Primary Care Network
- organise and minute the weekly Partners meeting and to provide minutes of discussions and decisions
- to ensure an effective communication system across the Practice and with the Partnership
- to recruit new staff into the Practice in line with budgets and with recognition of the clinical and non-clinical needs of the Practice population
- to ensure compliance with all relevant statutory legal regulations, professional standards, staying updated on changes and implementing the necessary changes
- to coordinate all aspects of the General Practice Contract and to monitor all Enhanced Services, including Investment and Impact Fund , Quality Outcomes Framework and other local Integrated care board projects and reporting, that require monthly monitoring
- to ensure continuous monitoring and performance of the Practice, comprising Key Performance Indicators and Management Accounts
- to be fully aware of all current Practice data, by utilising searches available on EMIS and Ardens and to report back to the Partnership on a regular basis
- to represent the Practice and contribute to external meetings and events, including Practice Managers Forum, NHS England, BNSSG ICB, General Practice Collaborative Board , Locality and PCN meetings
- to liaise with the Practices solicitors, accountants and bank manager on behalf of the Partners
- to address patient complaints and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, fostering positive patient relations
