  • bowling Green Court is a complex of 49 spacious, owner-occupied apartments specifically for people who have retired
  • it is located in Brook Street, at the heart of the city of Chester, and it is run by Bowling Green Court Ltd, whose only shareholders are the apartment-owners
  • as well as offering a high standard of apartments, the Court also has a restaurant offering a three-course meal to owners and their guests, usually at lunchtime, and a bistro offering light snacks and refreshments

Requirements

  • to provide the three-course meals, usually at lunchtime but occasionally in the evening
  • special diets must be catered for
  • to provide light meals and drinks in the bistro
  • occasionally, to provide buffets at the request of apartment-owners
  • the meals should be planned to meet the main nutritional needs of the diners and should be attractively presented, as well as of high quality
