Responsibility

• providing exceptional antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to expectant mothers and their infants
• conducting regular assessments, examinations, and screenings to ensure the health and well-being of both mother and baby throughout pregnancy and childbirth

• collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to the individual needs of each patient
• assisting in the preparation and conducting of various birthing techniques and methods, including natural births, water births, and caesarean sections
• monitoring the progress of labor and providing necessary interventions to ensure a safe and smooth delivery process
• administering medications, injections, and intravenous fluids as required
• documenting all patient interactions, procedures, and observations accurately and maintaining complete and up-to-date medical records

Requirements

• bachelor's degree in Midwifery or a related field. A recognized midwifery qualification is essential
• valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
• proven experience as a Midwife within the NHS
