Responsibility

  • creating production plans to satisfy customer demand whilst optimising safety, quality, cost in the production areas
  • acting as the link between the Production facility and group supply chain
  • monitoring factory capacity in line with customer requirements, highlighting any changes required
  • developing, implementing and maintaining policies, procedures, planning and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures and implement solutions
  • supporting correctly balanced inventory levels on purchased material and supplies to prevent out of stock conditions and issues relating to inventory
  • manufacturing documentation control
  • acting as planning representative at daily production meeting
  • ensuring the availability of all materials and components necessary to produce the finished product

  • placing purchase orders for purchased components, packaging and tools
  • track PO status and update confirmed delivery dates in the system
  • filing and receiving all delivery notes from Goods Inwards
  • match the supplier invoices with delivery notes
  • process all internal requisitions
  • liaise with suppliers on outstanding goods
  • prepare all paperwork from Planning to Production

warehouse operative

Requirements

  • A degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field is preferred
  • proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • experience in root cause analysis and implementing continuous improvement strategies within a manufacturing setting
  • familiarity with schematics, logic controllers, welding techniques, and plastics injection moulding processes is advantageous
  • strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues effectively
  • excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a keen attention to detail
