acting as the link between the Production facility and group supply chain
monitoring factory capacity in line with customer requirements, highlighting any changes required
developing, implementing and maintaining policies, procedures, planning and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures and implement solutions
supporting correctly balanced inventory levels on purchased material and supplies to prevent out of stock conditions and issues relating to inventory
manufacturing documentation control
acting as planning representative at daily production meeting
ensuring the availability of all materials and components necessary to produce the finished product

Requirements
A degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field is preferred
proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and SolidWorks
experience in root cause analysis and implementing continuous improvement strategies within a manufacturing setting
familiarity with schematics, logic controllers, welding techniques, and plastics injection moulding processes is advantageous
strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues effectively
excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
