Responsibility
- create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning, collaboration, and respect among students
- 1 - 5 days per week
- assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement
- implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a disciplined and safe learning environment
- collaborate with other teachers and school staff to develop and implement a cohesive curriculum that meets educational objectives
- communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise
- participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with educational trends
- plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons based on the curriculum guidelines, ensuring they are appropriate for the age and abilities of the students
Requirements
- bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field
- qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching certification
- proven experience as a Primary Teacher, preferably in a similar temporary capacity
- sound knowledge of primary curriculum guidelines and educational best practices
- strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- highly organized, with the ability to plan and deliver effective lessons
- flexibility and adaptability to work in a temporary assignment through a recruitment agency
