Requirements
- minimum of 5 GCSE or Equivalent qualifications at C or above
- experience of Customer Service preferred
- self-Motivated and Driven to achieve goals and meet deadlines
- previous experience of warehouse and/or despatch process essential
- understanding and experience of stock control
- full UK Driving License essential
- good Communication skills and able to interact with variety of people without difficulty or prejudice. Able to deal with strong characters, build lasting relationships with individuals and businesses
- forklift licence preferable, but external training can be provided if needed
Responsibility
- point of Contact for deliveries via email or over the phone
- organising Stock Control System and tracking inventory
- managing import and export distribution of goods in association with shipping agents
- planning and organising UK delivery of goods from suppliers and warehouse to customers
- general warehouse and some office duties as required and back-up cover to ensure effective running of the warehouse
- picking and packing orders when required with some heavy lifting
- ensuring information is passed to staff and managers in relation to queries from customers and suppliers
- using company or hired vehicle to complete local deliveries when needed
