  • to maintain a high quality, safe and well-run attraction delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • to manage the daily operations of the farm park ensuring staff have clearly defined roles, responsibilities, and objectives with measurable performance systems in place
  • to manage HR matters including recruitment and induction, staff appraisals and performance, disciplinary and grievance procedures in addition to any day to day staff issues

Requirements

  • proven event and operations management experience
  • experience of creatively developing events from inception to delivery
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to deal with situations in a calm, professional and customer focused manner
  • A team player with a collaborative working style with the ability to establish good relationships with colleagues
  • highly organised with excellent attention to detail and with ability to multi-task in an orderly and focused way
  • pro-active and flexible approach and an ability to use own initiative to resolve problems
  • ability to prioritise own workload to meet deadlines with ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities

Requirements

  • bocketts Farm Park is a well-established, family run, farm attraction based in Leatherhead, Surrey
  • an exciting opportunity for a baker has arisen to work within our successful catering department encompassing both a busy restaurant/tearooms, coffee shop and snack shack
  • we are looking for an enthusiastic and avid baker/cook to join our friendly team, delivering high quality homemade cakes, traybakes and delicious meals
  • all food served is made fresh on-site and so the candidate must have a passion for cooking quality dishes and experience in baking a range of cakes and baked goods

Responsibility

  • A sound knowledge of allergies and dietary requirements
  • maintaining a clean and organised kitchen working to a weekly list and cleaning schedules
  • monitoring and reporting stock levels
