Responsibility
to maintain a high quality, safe and well-run attraction delivering an exceptional customer experience
to manage the daily operations of the farm park ensuring staff have clearly defined roles, responsibilities, and objectives with measurable performance systems in place
to manage HR matters including recruitment and induction, staff appraisals and performance, disciplinary and grievance procedures in addition to any day to day staff issues
Requirements
proven event and operations management experience
experience of creatively developing events from inception to delivery
excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to deal with situations in a calm, professional and customer focused manner
A team player with a collaborative working style with the ability to establish good relationships with colleagues
highly organised with excellent attention to detail and with ability to multi-task in an orderly and focused way
pro-active and flexible approach and an ability to use own initiative to resolve problems
ability to prioritise own workload to meet deadlines with ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities
importantly, applicants will need to be enthusiastic, self-motivated, conscientious, and flexible
