Responsibility
- provide first-line IT support to internal users via phone, email, and in person
- log and manage support tickets using the company’s ticketing system
- perform initial triage and troubleshooting for IT issues related to hardware, software, and network
- assist in setting up and configuring IT equipment such as desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- maintain and update IT documentation, including user guides and FAQs
- escalate more complex issues to second-line support or relevant teams
- support the IT team in various projects and tasks as required
- ensure timely resolution of support requests in line with service level agreements
Requirements
- A Level 2 qualification in IT or related field is desirable but not essential
- previous experience in a customer service role is advantageous
- any prior experience with IT support or related activities is a plus but not required
- basic understanding of IT principles and an eagerness to learn
- good problem-solving skills with a methodical approach
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- strong organisational skills and attention to detail
