Responsibility
- safely and efficiently operate a 3.5-tonne van for the delivery and collection of goods within designated routes
- ensure accurate and timely completion of deliveries, adhering to schedules and customer requirements
- perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to guarantee roadworthiness
- maintain accurate records of deliveries and handle any necessary documentation
- provide excellent customer service, ensuring professional and friendly interactions with clients
- adhere to all traffic and safety regulations, maintaining a high level of awareness on the road
Requirements
- valid driver's license with category entitlement
- delivery driver experience
- proven experience as a van driver, preferably in a commercial or logistics environment
- driving
- excellent knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations
- strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- outstanding communication and customer service skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
