Responsibility
- we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager in our food store
- manage daily operations, including staff management, inventory control, and sales performance
- supervise and train store employees, ensuring they provide excellent customer service and adhere to company policies and procedures
- oversee the receiving, stocking, and rotation of merchandise to ensure accurate inventory levels and minimize product waste
- maintain a clean and organized store environment, including shelving, displays, and storage areas
- address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- as an Assistant Manager, you will play a vital role in managing and supporting the overall operations of the store, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness
- ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food safety standards
Requirements
- previous experience in a retail or food store management role will be ideal
- strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- excellent communication and organisational skills
- proficient in inventory management and point-of-sale systems
- strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
