Working hours
- full-time | Part-time
Responsibility
- you will ensure that the technical work is carried out in accordance with the firm’s standards and procedures
- preparation of financial statements for companies, sole traders and partnerships, including the associated business tax compliance work
- it is important to ensure that deadlines are met and the highest standard of client service is maintained
- preparation of self-assessment tax returns
- review and prepare VAT returns
- provide financial analysis and recommendations, both internally and to our clients
- dealing with routine correspondence concerning client’s affairs on a timely basis

Education
- bachelor's
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA qualified preferable but not necessarily essential
- other relevant certification advantageous
- at least 2 years of recent experience in an accountancy practice
- strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- experience with accounting software and financial reporting systems, in particular Xero, QuickBooks and Sage but knowledge of IRIS would advantageous
- payroll experience not essential but advantageous
- excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- strong attention to detail and accuracy
