- support individuals with Mental Health, Learning disabilities and Autism, employing appropriate techniques like PBS to manage behaviours effectively
- collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalised care plans
- maintain a safe and clean environment for clients by adhering to health and safety standards
- drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their mobility needs are met
- document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel
- engage clients in meaningful activities that promote their independence, physical and emotional well-being
Requirements
- previous experience in a similar role within Supported Living environment
- knowledge of safeguarding processes and reporting
- A compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- A valid driving licence is desirable for transporting clients when necessary
- relevant qualifications in health and social care would be beneficial but are not essential
- supported Living: 1 year
