Responsibility

  • to be responsible for all clinical activity relating to the direct care of clients
  • to administer drugs in accordance with the Home’s Policy and Procedures and NMC Guidelines, recognizing the Royal Pharmaceutical Society
  • to be responsible for overseeing the clinical activity relating to the nursing of clients
  • to oversee the clinical service and advise the manager regarding matters affecting the clients’ health & well being
  • to maintain records relating to CQC, NMC and the other regulations
  • to keep up to date on changes to client care
  • to ensure clients, relatives or advocates are notified in the event of incidents, accidents, hospital or isolation
  • to be aware of the wounds, protocol and treatment for clients ensuring consistency in the wound management and keep up to date regarding the latest research
