Responsibility
research and identify events across the UK that could support in increasing our engagement whilst adhering to a departmental budget
organise our attendance at a wide variety of events and act as the BMC representative
plan/schedule/order any equipment and materials required for events
supervise and support student ambassadors assisting you at events
assist with the development of a marketing and outreach strategy across BMC and take responsibility for aspects of its implementation and management
distribute marketing materials for all of our educational offering including leaflets, posters, flyers, etc
work with the Marketing Manager and Communications & Design Officer to promote BMC, our ethos and courses in preparation for our NVQ’s, short courses, and degree, year on year
complete any paperwork required prior to attending events
Requirements
prior experience in a marketing/sales/recruitment/events background
experience within the education sector
personal interest in the environment/climate change
confident public speaker
welsh speaker
friendly, approachable, sociable and responsive when liaising with potential students
persuasive, compelling and influential manner in order to promote BMC and our courses
