  • assisting the Head Chef to create menu items, recipes and develop dishes

  • supervising, motivating and working closely with other Chefs of all levels

  • level 2 Health and Safety in the Workplace Award
  • NVQ Level 2
  • minimum 2 years relevant experience
  • level 3 Food Safety Awards
  • awareness of manual handling techniques
  • awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations and chemical safety
