Responsibility

  • blackhound Sports is the leading supplier of polo apparel, supplying teams and players around
  • this role offers the opportunity for an already experienced and proactive accounts assistant to develop their skills and gain greater autonomy
  • raising sales invoices
  • liaising with account managers and chasing and following up with Debtors
  • processing supplier invoice's, and processing supplier payments
  • reconciling to supplier statements and that the Creditors list is up to date and tidy
  • reconciling bank, and credit card accounts
  • responding to inbound client queries via telephone/email

Requirements

  • the candidate will either be qualified through previous experience/study towards AAT/ICB/ACCA etc
  • excellent attention to detail and has a strong understanding of accounting processes as well being proactive
  • the candidate must really enjoy being organised, and working as a team
  • commercial awareness is essential
  • have the ability to work both individually as part of a team and to take responsibility of their own workload
  • being able to work to strict timelines and accuracy in data input is essential
  • good computer skills and ideally a good understanding of accounting software SAGE
  • excellent multi-tasking ability
