Responsibility
- to safeguard and promote the delivery of high-quality individualised care to the children and young people living in our homes
- to participate, in the on-call system
- ensuring consistency with company core values, compliance with the Children Homes Regulations and Quality Standards , The Guide to the Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards , and compliance with any other regulatory expectations, being mindful of the content of the Social Care Common Inspection Framework
- to lead and manage the home in a way which is consistent with the approach, ethos, and delivers the outcomes as set out in the home’s statement of purpose
- to develop and maintain good working relationships and work in partnership with families, local authorities and external agencies
- to understand the impact the quality of care provided in the home is having on the progress and experiences of each child
- to ensure effective consultation with young people, staff and other stakeholders to support the development and maintenance of a safe and appropriate culture in line with the organisational core values and regulatory requirements
- to be involved in the recruitment, monitoring, training, retention and mentoring of staff as necessary taking responsibility to ensure staff undertake all training required for their role

- GCSE or equivalent
