Responsibility
- monitor and forecast upcoming level of demand and raise new PO with existing supplier
- negotiate prices and contracts with new supplier, with existing supplier and draw up contract
- arrange quality inspection at supplier site during manufacturing stage and ready to ship stage by visiting site or sampling remotely
- determines which new product to source via extensive market research
- liaise with Product design and branding team
- liaise with Director or finance team to meet buying budget
- interview new supplier and visit trade fairs
- ensure all contracts and products adhere to relevant legislations
Education
- must have at least Bachelor Degree
- demonstrated leadership skills
- excellent communication skills and presentation skills
