Responsibility
- the importance of the eBike Rebalancing Driver at Big Issue eBikes
- you’ll work closely with our Maintenance, Customer Service and Management teams
- your work will help provide a sustainable, affordable eBike scheme for Aberdeen residents, workers and visitors
- you will also conduct minor repairs and cleaning at roadside, and take our eBikes to our workshop for wider repairs when needed
- this role is critical within the Operations team, ensuring our eBike fleet is in the best possible locations, and stays in great condition
- you’ll provide exemplary customer service to all, and contribute towards a positive, supportive working environment that brings ‘Biking for Good’ to Aberdeen
- do you drive, and happy to spend your working day outdoors moving our fleet of eBikes? The Big Issue eBikes team need Rebalancing Technicians who will keep our eBike fleet in the best possible locations for customers across the City of Aberdeen and swap batteries on the bikes when needed
- undertaking any other ad hoc duties as and when required by your manager

Requirements
- successful track record in a similar role and environment
- ability to work on weekends on a regular basis
- ability to work on bank holidays or unsociable hours on occasion
- knowledge about eBike electrical components
- ability to work under your own initiative
- knowledge of The Big Issue Group, and commitment to its social objectives
- ability to lift up to 25-30kg; stoop, bend, and stand for long periods of time
- willingness to work outdoors, year-round and in all weather conditions
