Responsibility
- to operate safely and to encourage a culture of Health and Safety, reporting near misses and potential hazards
- to operate within good manufacturing practice standards and follow all GMP and Safety policies, procedures and guidelines
- to encourage, support and assist in the company’s quality management system in line with the BRC Global Standards for Food Safety
- carry out assessment of products, ensuring that the product meets Customer, Quality, Authenticity & Legal requirements
- responsible for the site calibration & temperature control checks & ensuring service schedules are maintained
- carry out GHP, GMP and foreign body audits to schedule
- carry out daily quality checks across all production lines/areas and report any issues and manage any subsequent investigations
- stock control, ordering and receiving of consumables & chemicals
Requirements
- general knowledge of Health & Safety and Manual Handling
- food Safety in Manufacturing Level 2
- proven knowledge within a food manufacturing background is essential
- HACCP level 2
- good Manufacturing Practice
- chemical Awareness
