Responsibility

  • analyze project documents, drawings, and specifications to perform accurate take-offs
  • prepare estimates and cost proposals using accurate pricing, labor rates, and material costs
  • work collaboratively with other departments to ensure the execution of projects within budget and timeline requirements
  • identify potential project risks and propose solutions
  • coordination of bidding process with sub-contractors and vendors
  • maintain accurate and detailed records of project estimates, proposals, change orders, and contract modifications

Requirements

  • proven experience as an Estimator in the roofing or fall prevention industry
  • knowledge of 2D or CAD software
  • solid understanding of construction safety regulations and requirements
  • excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office and other estimation software
  • ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritize workload
  • valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation

Education

  • GCSE or equivalent
