Responsibility
- preparation of self-assessment tax returns and corporation tax returns
- communicating with clients via phone, email and letter regarding any queries
- holding meetings with clients to discuss end of year accounts and tax returns
- finalising accounts and tax returns for client approval
- submitting tax returns to HMRC and see to Companies House filing requirements
- keeping clear notes on client files as well as good record of all client work in progress
- preparation of year end accounts for sole trader, partnerships and limited companies, or otherwise review of accounts prepared by accounts assistants, for client discussion
- liaising with HMRC over a range of matters regarding client tax affairs
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- experience of working in a similar role for 2 or more years
- proficiency in accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks
- knowledge of the agricultural sector
- self-motivated with excellent organisational and time management skills
- accounting: 2 years
- quickBooks: 1 year
- xero: 1 year
