  • berlesduna Academy Trust has an exciting opportunity for a full time Chief Finance Officer to join the team
  • salary Scale 14 . Starting salary £67,990 including paid annual leave, which must be taken during school closure periods
  • salary Scale 13 . Starting salary £59,700 including paid annual leave, which must be taken during school closure periods
  • contribute to MAT strategy and policy development to support the Trust’s mission and vision
  • the MAT is developing rapidly to become a vibrant, exciting and dynamic place to learn and work
  • provide management information for the Trust’s planning and monitoring systems
  • experience in the education sector is preferable but not essential
  • present a monthly summary of Trust finances to the CEO

Requirements

  • education to degree level or recent relevant strategic E AF experience gained at a senior level in a school or Trust
  • qualified accountant E AF
  • experience of working as part of a school or Trust senior E AF,I management team
  • excellent leadership skills E AF
  • experience of initiating, leading and managing change D AF, I
  • charities Act accounts
  • excellent communication skills, both written and oral at all E AF levels in the organisation
  • management accounts
