- read engineering drawings and produce fabrications/weld to a high standard of finish on own initiative
Requirements
- must have completed a relevant Engineering Apprenticeship or have a good number of years' experience in a similar role
- be able to pass welding qualifications to in-house welding procedures
- site works experience is beneficial
- must have excellent problem-solving skills
- must have good written and spoken communication skills
- must be well organised and work well under pressure
- previous pipe welding experience is a bonus
- previous experience in the Construction and Nuclear Industries is an advantage
