- you may also be liaising with Freight Forwarders so experience of this industry can be beneficial
- this is a unique opportunity for exceptional candidates, with an eye for detail in completing documentation for our products to be exported worldwide to our customers and distributors
- you will be working as part of a small tight-knit team, processing orders and quotations received from customers and distributors either through our on-line order system, via e-mail or phone
- the Department works closely with our Operations Team to ensure customers and distributors have their orders made available to them for collection, as quickly as possible
Requirements
- the ideal candidate will have experience with shipping hazardous goods within an export environment
- as we are moving towards a fully CRM managed communication process, experience with these is vital
- an interest in international affairs would be advantageous due to the many different nationalities we work with and their country requirements
- A strong customer service focus is imperative
- export experience including IATA and IMDG qualification, and dangerous goods documentation is not required however will help the candidate to understand our process
- exceptional organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask, prioritise and meet customer deadlines under pressure are essential in this challenging and varied role
