Responsibility
- supporting the Head of Portfolio Delivery in developing and maintaining the portfolio roadmap
- work with all stakeholders to manage requirements and align project plan to strategic goals
- build and maintain the project plan, monitoring and controlling activity to ensure timely delivery

- responsible for management and escalation of risks and issues
- actively identify and manage dependencies both within projects and across the wider portfolio
- define success metrics - baseline at the beginning of projects and use these to measure benefits
- drive the day-to-day delivery activities across the project, from initial shaping and mobilisation through to deployment and post go live support
- help shape the change methodology, constantly looking for ways to optimise and enhance this
- design and execute communication plans for both internal and external parties
- support the HoPD by preparing / giving weekly and monthly project status updates and reports
- be a champion for Agile Project Delivery, Feature-led Development and Design Thinking
- build strong relationships with stakeholders from across the business and provide updates as required to the Executive, Management Board, and the Change, IT and Data teams
Requirements
- extensive and successful track record of delivering multiple change initiatives within deadlines
- good working knowledge of industry-standard project management methodologies – waterfall, agile and hybrid
- understanding of the retail banking / mortgage industry, market conditions and trends is preferable
