Responsibility

  • as a Orbit Catering Apprentice, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment
  • this position offers a dynamic environment where you will engage in workshop and onsite work, ensuring the efficient functioning of electrical and air pressure systems
  • fault Finding: Identify and troubleshoot electrical and air pressure faults in equipment
  • service and Repair: Perform maintenance, servicing, and repair of washware equipment including glasswashers, dishwashers, passthroughs, and ice machines
  • installation and Commissioning: Assist in the installation and commissioning of equipment, ensuring proper setup and functionality
  • customer Service: Deliver services to customers effectively and punctually, providing guidance on equipment operation and safety measures
  • training and Support: Walk customers through equipment functionality, explain new features, and suggest upgrades to enhance their experience
  • materials Management: Order and restock materials as required for repair and maintenance tasks
