Responsibility
- loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner
- abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
- covering emergency deliveries as and when required
- stock reconciliation and reporting
- routing & planning of daily deliveries
- providing cover for the Transport Manager when he is away from the office
- liaising with head office and drivers to ensure the efficient operation of the transport department
- collation and reconciliation of delivery records
Requirements
- full, driving licence
- highly organised, excellent communicator both verbal & written
- A pro-active self-starter who loves to solve problems and improve logistics experiences for our customers
- attention to detail is paramount for this busy transport office
- must be flexible and a team player
- open to learn and adapt to different systems and processes
