• based on the outskirts of Cullompton, just off the M5, we are a family run business that prides ourselves on providing exceptional secondhand cars for sale and customer care, whilst ensuring our customer's vehicles are maintained to the highest standards
• due to an ongoing increase in work, we are now looking to recruit an experienced responsible mechanic to join the business and assist in ongoing growth for the future
• the role of our Mechanic at Beechcroft Motors requires a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of mechanical experience and it's very important the candidate must be good at problem-solving and diagnostics and be able to demonstrate this
• the right candidate will have a genuine interest in cars, with an eagerness to do well and take pride in their work. Customers often stop by unannounced to take a look at our cars, so a friendly, professional and approachable manner is a must

Earnings for position vehicle technician / mechanic

Responsibility

• due to this, our mechanical workload is high
• A bit of an overview of our business
• we are searching for a mobile mechanic to take over doing the majority of the mechanical work at our small car dealership in Cullompton. We hold around 20-30 cars at any one time

• the business is run by myself and my wife
• we need a reliable experienced mechanic who is very good at diagnosing and problem-solving, works in a timely manner and has good availability for us
• unlike most dealers, we want to prep our cars to a very high standard and genuinely give the customer a good car
• we sell around 20 cars a month
• my wife deals with sales and administration
• we MOT and service all the cars and fit cam belts to almost all of our cars followed by a final inspection
• we have a workshop assistant that works alongside me fitting the cambelts, servicing and required MOT work
• on top of that, we have a lot of our customers who want us to continue to maintain their cars and recommend us to their friends so the workload is exponentially increasing
