Responsibility

  • clean kitchen area ensuring that fridge and microwave are cleaned daily, and worktop and sink areas are cleaned weekly
  • clean all areas of the offices including desk, computers etc using specific products for computers weekly
  • transports dirty linens to correct area to be cleaned and restocks areas with clean linens
  • undertake all necessary duties required to deliver an exceptional cleaning service and ensure extremely high levels of cleanliness are maintained at all times
  • work as part of team to clean all communal areas of the care home daily including for instance sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying waste bins and replacing liners, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows
  • clean individual resident rooms and bathrooms daily including restocking dispensers, emptying waste bins and replacing liners, cleaning and sanitising fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets
